With Joy in my heart, I wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance. May the rest of our years be the best. Please as you reflect on this outgoing year, do not kill those little ideas in you. Everything that seem so great started with just an idea. Do not be bereft of ideas. Explore your mind at all times and be the (wo)man you have always wanted to be.
Once again, Compliments!

Live, Learn and Impart!
Hello. I just want to share a little experience with those who will view this now and to those who won't see this until years later. I got a teaching job shortly when I was rounding up my Master's degree programme at the University of Ibadan. at first, I was contented as it means I wouldn't have to depend on home for monthly stipend (which could barely keep me self sufficient for two weeks). I felt happy at the teaching. Really, it is an avenue to impart knowledge on the generation coming immediately after me. I reminisced about my days in secondary school (Christ's school and Ben Folarin College, both in Ekiti State, Nigeria). How I hated teachers and subsequently failed in their subjects because of lack of passion. I decided to be different and make myself loved by the students and pupils. My first day in class, as a teacher, I remember I taught Informal letter to a class of about 15 in JSS3. A girl asked me a simple question which I didn't know. I later got to know that the girl knew the answer but she wanted to access me and, I think, intimidate me. Anyway, friends, I didn't give a direct answer. After the period I went back to my book and red about the question. I got an adequate knowledge of it and I came back to class the next day to teach on another topic. I took like five minutes out to talk about her question of yesterday. The whole was surprised! They had thought I wouldn't talk about it, as many teachers do. I made them understand that teachers don't know all. When you teach, you must also learn. We die the day we assume to know it all.
As you might have guessed, I won the hearts of these students and became one of their favourite teachers.
To teachers out there. You must not paint yourself as a "know all" in front of your students because the day they discover a fault, they will so glorify it and make it seem as though you make such errors every time. Kids might even give you an appellation that is borne out of such errors.
Professor Oha of the University once said during one of his teachings "Please share your views because I'm also learning from you". Indeed Learning is not static.
Learn new thing today and break new grounds.
Thank You.
